Sheet 02 · Wireless Access Points

Wireless Access Point & Mesh Wi-Fi Setup

Weak Wi-Fi in the back office or the far corner of a warehouse isn't a mystery — it's a placement and design problem. We build wireless networks that cover your whole space, not just the area around the router.

A reliable wireless network takes more than plugging in a router. Building materials, floor plan, device density and interference all affect coverage. Tri City Tech surveys your space and designs an access point layout — and mesh network where it makes sense — so every corner of your building gets a strong, stable signal.

We install access points cabled back to your structured cabling for the most reliable performance, configure separate networks for staff, guests and devices like cameras, and set up the coverage to handle the number of people and devices actually using it.

Equipment we install

We install and configure Ubiquiti UniFi equipment as our standard platform, chosen for its reliability and centralized management — and can work with other manufacturers on request.

UniFi Access Points

Ceiling and wall-mount access points delivering high-density Wi-Fi 6/6E coverage, centrally managed from one dashboard.

UniFi Point-to-Point Bridges

Wireless bridges that link buildings, yards or remote structures without trenching new cable runs.

Common questions

Wireless Access Points FAQ

How many access points does my building need?

It depends on square footage, wall materials and how many devices will be connected at once. We size this during a site survey rather than guessing from square footage alone.

Can you fix dead zones in our current Wi-Fi?

In most cases, yes. We can add or reposition access points, or redesign the network if the underlying setup is the problem.

Do you install Wi-Fi for warehouses and outdoor areas?

Yes, including high-ceiling warehouse spaces, loading docks and outdoor-rated access points for yards and parking areas.
